§ 46-19. Public transportation: payment of fares.

No person shall travel in any jitney or autobus or other means of transportation within the limits of the Borough of Paulsboro without having paid his fare and with intent to avoid payment thereof where fare for such travel is legally due, and no person who, having paid his fare and having traveled on such jitney or autobus or other means of transportation to a point where, under the rule of the company or person operating such car or autobus, as announced by the conductor or operator or other person in charge thereof, an additional fare is due, shall on demand refuse or fail to pay such additional fare.
